most of the area was covered in chest high reeds. but a there was a spot that wasn't and it was 6" deep water . i searched that an no luck. when the power company cuts the right of way i'll hit it again. there are deep ruts from 4x4s so i have my work cut out for me. i did find a 1/2 inch musket ball, pocket knife and several bullets.
gonna go back tomorrow and hit the mud hole again...lucky for me when i was looking from the road the land owner came up and said have at it, but the mud hole is over there.
