Well,.....its been a pretty tough year for silvers for me.....And I have hunted a ton!!! Just can't find any virgin dirt anymore. I had several great spots and a few 1850 and 1840 houses I thought for sure would give up something.....but they were all crushed to death.
Anyway.....I did a short road trip to hit a few parks I had success at last year. I hunted 4 parks in 2 days and oh yeah 2 permissions, all in all sunday and Monday I probably hunted 12 hours and ended up with one silver coin.
The big silver was between two baseball fields and she was at least 8 inches down, but showed 9 on the CTX.
anyway....I snagged a GW at a park by my house and managed a merc at a permission a half hour away that supposedly was an 1850s school house...Also the curious brass item was from that yard. ANY IDEAS ON IT??
Well, this gets me up to a whopping 14 silver coins fty.....that's what I generally like to have by February.......
This Walker makes 26 silver half dollars for me but I can't find that BIG big coin yet.

Wow, still nice finds even though you did not get a whole lot of silvers, you sure made up for it with that nice Walking Liberty Half!
