Had a great day. It's been about a month since I found silver and found my second Indian Head nickel 1920. Found all these in about a 10' square area in the area of an older home.
Also this nice pendant that looks to be maybe silver. Says Roma 1950 on the backside. Anyone know anything about it?

That'd be Pope Pius XII. Don't know the exact signifigance of 1950, but one of his more famous acts was defining the "dogma of the assumption" (no, I don't know what that means) in 1950.

Ah, it's called a "Jubille Medal", issued whenever the Pope declares a year of grace within the church, typically every 25 years. Pope Pius called a year of grace in 1950.

That's not a great hunt...not at all...In fact it's incredible! Sheesh - that's a crazy awesome hunt. A buff, wheat and two silvers! Last time I had a multi silver day was months ago. Very very nice haul.
