Can I find my eyeglasses with a metal detector?

Hi all,

I lost my metal framed eyeglasses today in a foot of grass and for the life of me could not find them. I was thinking of using a metal detector but thought I would ask the experts first!

Do you think a metal detector would detect eyeglasses?

Definitely - I know because I have found eyeglasses st beaches and volleyball courts. Unless they are 100% plastic (including those teeny screws) a detector will find them!

Any metal detecting clubs in your area? I would try contacting them so they can get right on it.

I think it would but you just can't swing the coil over 12" of grass or you may not get a signal unless it's a deep detector. You would have to run the coil and sweep it through the grass.

Yep!! Any detector should work, Just watch where you step..
