I bought my very first detector(minelab elite ) oct. 1 ,2005... an here are the results, I average I guess maybe 4 to 6 hunts a month.

I'm essentially a spaz with a funny looking stick. My finds won't look like that after 10 years!

I'm not very familiar with all the different types of detectors. Is yours a saltwater machine?

the total? I have no idea, I would guess somewhere around $250.00, the largest ring is a mans ring 14k with 9 diamonds ( never have tested)
