It says copy on it. I’m very confused aha. Is it from an old play set? It’s also really small

To prevent a counterfeiting charge, all copies of US coins are required to say copy on them. I would guess play money and you said it is small, how small is it?

the fact that it is smaller than an actual cent, and the word copy, that leads me to believe it is a play coin.
