Haven’t been able to get out metal detecting forever! Work and home life just super busy. Liberated myself with an hour hunt before noon today. Went to the lake area I’ve been hitting for awhile...

The cross says ANTAYA Sterling on the back and is pretty cool looking. Found the ring later and really had to dig for it. Deep and under some big rocks.

Double sterling hunt! It was so dang nice being out swinging again!

WOW that cross is beautiful, hope someone can Id it. Congrats on the shiny and good to see you were able to get out GS. Good luck, Mark

:wow2: That cross is amazing, GroundSweeper! Congrats on the double sterling! And I know where you're coming from regarding not being able to get out detecting. Just returned to work this week, and if I'm not working it's raining! And yea, life gets in the way too.

Nice find with that cross, especially being in a lake. About 7 years ago when I got my Teknetics Eurotek and couldnt wait to swing it, I went into my back yard on a dark and chilly October night and in minutes pulled out my first find: A Sterling cross about the size of yours (the design of yours is way nicer, btw!) Mine said "I am a Presbyterian" on the back.

Thank you Metal Pig, that’s cool yours has denomination on it. I almost got a Eurotek awhile back. The lake water level fluctuates, and when its lower more very muddy shoreline is available to hunt. Mucky, but interesting!

That’s a really nice unique cross. Congrats on the double Sterling hunt.

Thank you very much Jam!

Definitely a couple of nice saves, congrats man!

Thanks Jeff!

Lake digging is always rough, kind of like real work.
Those look to have good age to them, very nice.
