Hello,

My wedding ring slipped off my finger while playing a friendly game of football in the shallow waters on Long Sands Beach, York, Maine on the afternoon of 5/29/2010.

What a bummer - I really loved that ring and it meant a lot to my wife and I.

Not sure if there are any enthusiasts on this site from the southern Maine area, but if anyone comes across it, I'd be greatly appreciative to hear about it.

Details:
* "bushed" Platinum
* engraving inside including "...3/3/01"
* location: approx midpoint between the General Store and the orange beach house

Given that it is a heavy platinum ring, I assumed it would have dropped right in the sand and rested there - however some friends guessed that if the tides were strong enough to move large rocks, they are certainly strong enough to move a ring. In other words, it could be anywhere.

I can be reached at [email protected]

Thanks Everyone.
