A 1953 dime.
Price is high for silver at almost $26. An ounce!
My coin store paid me $8.80 for .509 ounce of sterling and $1.88 for the dime.
He said he pays 80% melt for silver.
I could get 90% from midwest refinery but I went this route for now.
Happy hunting out there!

$1.88 for a Rosie is pretty dang good. Thats got to be better than 80% melt.

I'm liking the high metal prices, just need more to sell.
Depends on how you look at it! Many of us want the dollar high so we can buy-buy-buy silver on the cheap. When you sell on ‘high’ silver, it takes more ‘paper’ to buy it. Some want to dump the paper for a tangible asset, others are fine taking paper.

Interesting Metal. I’ve got a jar of “broken/messed up” 925 items I’ve found over the years, figure maybe someday I’ll learn to melt it down and make something out of it

I do have some gold I could sell. I sold some once to a gold buy store, got maybe 81-82% which to me was good enough to pay for my Nox. I wasn’t comfortable mailing it all to Midwest. I did send Midwest two pieces the gold store wouldn’t buy (saying they were plated even though they were not), Midwest sent me $90 for those two!

Take care!
