I haven't been on in a few years actually. Other things occupying my time. Come back and see this is an unsecure site. Is it just me or what?

Yes it happened to me quite a few years back.

Admin. informed me that I had logged on to an old link which was not secure and to logged in to the new secure link, the correct one would show the 'padlock' in the address bar.

I'm not seeing the "lock" when I log on.....

Quite a while ago, the forum didn't have a secure https link so, if you had saved a bookmark to the forum back then, you are accessing it "the old way". You can edit your existing bookmark and change "http" to "https". Or delete your old bookmark and type what Craig posted and then re-save your bookmark.

Apache can be setup to redirect all port 80 to 443 https via .htaccess or vhosts in the config. That's what I would recommend and can help if needed.
