Are these good enough for a wader. I rarely go deeper than my chin.

Heard the sound was quiet? I don’t mind if they don’t fully block external noise as I like to hear what’s around me somewhat. Lake beaches summertime only at the moment, and maybe some rivers snorkeling.

Alternatively, and maybe preferrably, I’d be okay using waterproof earbuds if there was a waterproof adapter(?) available....

Thanks - trying to decide between headphones or the 6” coil for now.

Maybe I should have posted this in the beach section

I think I’ll research a waterproof earbud adapter a bit more. Maybe a cheaper option. Wish Minelab made one...

There are waterproof earbud on ebay with the adapter

Have you tried one out? Have a bit of fear of compromising the detector.

I saw two from the same seller 29/34$.

I also saw someone on here had made their own waterproof headphones for their Nox.

I’ll sit on this for a bit and see. I have some Amazon money so could get the yellows and call it good. May do that. Have to see. Thanks!

Haven’t tried them as I don’t have the nox yet that is my next detector to get after I sell my xterra

I made my own Nox earbuds. Also have the grey ghost Nox amphibians. My ear buds are loud. The Amphibians are somewhat muffled.
