Treating Your Coil With Truck Bed Liner

I think I'll do exactly as you have on my 10x12 SEF Butterfly coil. I'm curious if this would work on the MD shaft -- not so much to protect it from wear 'n tear, but to water proof it. Love to hear your thoughts
diggin4$$$$ out on Guam (We have a lot of salt spray out here as you might imagine)
For the shaft check for vinyl spray or sticker. That won't solve the inside problem though

Here is the finished project. I asked about the warranty impacts and they said that this would not effect the warranty. I did 3 light coats with the bedliner spray.

They make a water based product. I'm not sure who.makes it, I thought it was a Rust-Oleum product.

Anyhow, I used it on a 13" aftermarket coil and it works great. I did the "many light coats" method.
