Returned to a previuosly hunted permission that I hit last week. Went slow and steady away from the prime areas and popped a few silvers. Then near the root ball of a old maple got a screaming solid signal. A few minutes of creative digging and out pops my first colonial shoe buckle frame. That's a bucket lister for me. Until now I've only found pieces of frame. Now for a whole one. Good luck and good hunting.
