Nokta simplex vs Garrett at

I used the AT gold for 5-6 years, and the AT pro for 2-3 years. Love the AT series! But theres just so much more out there nowadays for MUCH less. The simplex is very comparable to the AT series performance wise, and might even be slightly deeper. I sold my AT gold to help pay for my simplex and I have ZERO regrets! I wasnt a big fan of the equinox, and the vanquish is basically a lesser version of the nox, so I didnt see a need to add the vanquish to my list of detectors I want to try. I might pick up a nox 800 someday for saltwater usage, but other than that, I'm completely happy with my old minelab explorer and simplex combo. Also excited to see what garrett has up their sleeve this year. Hopefully whites can bring something to the table as well... let us know what you decide!

My old AT Pro was a good machine, a nice step up from my Tek Delta. Really the only issue I had was that it was nose heavy with the stock coil. Never used a 5x8....
