It is insane that Nokta/Makro can sell such a powerful machine for 299.99
I actually think that it will be of detriment to think that this machine cant keep up with so many of the other machines out there.
Whatever you use is the best for you. All the major manufactures make quality machines.
It is just that this Simplex+ is putting a big smile on my face. I had a great time today with it at a NH hunt.

Take care
Jason

Been tossing the idea of getting one of these for Amanda. As much as we like the 600's, It would be fun to change it up a little and this one shouldn't have nearly as much of a learning curve. Thanks for posting!

Got my simplex yesterday. Nice separation of display segments with a range of 0-99. Bottlecaps are easily identified (in air test) by swinging over the center and getting a steady signal like a coin. But wiggle the toe of the coil over bottle cap and numbers will jump all around. Where as if you are over a coin the numbers are solid over the center of the coil and the toe.

Yes, compared to my 800 very simple to learn and use.

Raining all day today so will go out hunting this sat or sun for 2-3 hours.
