Still looking for a Liberty Quarter, Barber Half, Silver Kennedy, Morgan and Peace dollars.
What do you have left to find from this list of 20th century American coins??

**Edit** Since I posted this, I've found a Standing Liberty Quarter.

Whats a barber v nickel ?

You refered to it as a " barber" I believe its called " Liberty head" nickel, just asking.

I've always called them Barber nickels. Not sure why. It does beg the question.. "Why are Barber Quarters not called Liberty Head Quarters?

Awesome Foragist. Our lists look very similar. Hope you get over one of the silver dollars.

I have all but the Morgan and Peace. I break out the Kennedys into 90% and 40% types, otherwise the list is the same.

Once people started adding pre 20th century coins, I figured I'd do the entire federal series (excluding gold; my list would be one gold coin of any type). I've found about 2/3rds of them. I'd be curious to know what we have done collectively. The rest seem unlikely for me, except for the seated half dime, which is my personal white whale.

US Gold Coin as a type

The half dollars and dollars are obviously the hardest to find. I have 1 walker and that's it. Ive found 39 seated silvers but only 1 Barber quarter too. I have found a seated half and gold dollar but wrong century  I hunt older sites thus the older coins
Not for me.....I found 4 silver halves before my first silver quarter......at 8 halves now before recently finding my SLQ.....

I am by no means a dirt pro. But when I read the title , I thought it meant a particular coin is more difficult to dig than another. No , it's just a goal or wish list. What I find odd is that nobody really mentions U.S gold coins in their lists.

I have dug 11 of the 20. My list is below. Considering that at the beginning of the year, I only had 3, I"m not doing too badly.

Stiffwrists,
It seems to me that you left off a common 20th century non-currency silver coin, specifically the silver American Eagle. I haven't found a Peace or Morgan dollar, but I've found an '87 American Eagle near the U. It's an ounce of silver, even if it isn't currency.
I don't ever expect to find a steel cent, except in the coinstar. Maybe the hardest to find is the '64 Kennedy half. Great list. As few silvers as I find each year, I don't expect to ever find them all.

See #37 on this list.
