From the land of the Bluenose..well it was a busy weekend with birthday cake being served all weekend. First it was to Elmsdale for a party on Marie's side <center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d936b3127cce8b0832056f5400000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center> So much for getting out on Saturday!
Sunday started off better as JWP and I hooked up and hit a few school grounds. Since getting his new White's Johns detecting has improved greatly and he seems to be more comfortable on a dig and is finding his share of the coins!<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d937b3127cce8b016292d62100000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
Was a super hot Sunday and glad we got out early as both of us were sweating a pint of Bud an hour.Jwp ended up with a pocket full of clad. After we parted ways I hit a local lake for a quick swish and cooling off. End result for the day was 2 earings (one silver), kids ring, and 78 coins @$9.42<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d937b3127cce8b016291571200000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
Of course the dig was not without incident as I sliced my finger open on a piece of glass. This is after forgetting the gloves that Marie had picked up for me!
After the swish it was off to my brother Ricks place for his birthday/bbq. Man just way too much food. Got a nice photo of my daughter kayla standing with my nephew Nathan who is down for the summer from Ontario and is working for my brother.<center><img src="http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6d936b3127cce8b083204ee6500000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2"></center>
