From the land of the Bluenose...Bardman made her out of the hospital and is safely tucked in the blueberry patch in Oxford and Johhny White Pail is still recovering from his injury in the field so this bouy headed out into the wild alone.

Headed down the 102 with Supertramp on the cassette deck with bugs a splattering to the beat on my windshield. Know what they say about that here in good ole Nova Scotia...Know what is the last thing that passes threw a bugs mind as he hits your windshield....his rear end! Logical to this bouy!

The natural beauty of this park is missed by many as it is really in the woods.

Started my dig with the usual pennies with a few "land eels (garter snakes)" hanging around watching the goings on as well as a pack of white tailed deer who paid me less mind than the land eels. First non penny find of the day was a musket ball followed by a Harley Davidson earing and of course a key. Man there must be a score of bouys locked out of their house in this province. Thinking maybe a string attached to their key and belt hip rubbers would be in order.

Anyway I was down on all fours like everything else in this park when I caught movement out of my left eye. Lord love a duck.....skimming over the river was the biggest thing in the air that this lad had ever seen that wasn't man made. Well not being a "birdieoligist' all that I can tell you is that it had a rusty brown under carriage (been working at the airport too long)...make that wing with the top of the flying thing a dark black. Tried to get the camera out and only managed to get a shot of the river. Mister man that thing was big.

After that heart stopping incident I continued a digging till the knee gave way. Total for the day was the mandatory key, musket ball, Harley earing, tent peg, zipper (think Marie would like to use that on me),some sortof guilded name plate, a little pink charm, old class 4 bridge token and 50 coins @$4.34.

The evening we went to the show and took a back row seat in the corner for some snuggling. Movie was pure entertainment as we went to see the film "Crank" which was awesome and had us laughing even when we left the theater.
