PRR Padlock

After spending 2 hours digging up 2 bucks in clad, I found this Pennsylvania Rail Road padlock about 3 inches down...

Thanks guys. Finding the lock made the detecting trip in the heat worth while.
I've been trying to find a date assiciated with the lock, but so far have had no success - if anyone has any experience with these type of relics, please let me know.

There are catalogs out there that cover Railway items, as well as a lot of specific collectors. Your local antique shops may help or point you in the right direction. Ran an antique shop for ten years and these items were very collectable, don't know what the market is now but it should still be good. You might want to try ebay with a search for similar item and what is being asked..good luck, nice lock
