I recently picked up a new Nokta Makro Simplex+ for use in freshwater lakes mostly. It didn't come with an arm cuff pad. Today I made a pad with some neoprene rubber pads I had laying around. Here's some pics. It's a little thicker than I wanted, but it's what I had available. I think it turned out well.

i found that one of the easiest and cheapest pads for an arm cuff is a computer mouse pad. You can cut it to fit and glue it on with rubber cement. Coat the pad and the cuff and let both pieces dry and them stick them together. Make sure they are lined up because you won;t be able to remove them.
