I got out for a two hour hunt at a middle school soccer field that I've had my eye on for a while and dug the usual clad....34 coins worth $7.61, including my first clad half of the year. I also pulled a 1988 Jamaican one cent coin.

Nice haul for a couple of hours!
Thanks Tom......first time I ever hunted this spot and there's a lot of ground left to cover so Sue and I will be heading back there sometime soon. The school isn't very old so I'm not really expecting any silver coins but maybe a ring or two is possible.

Nice haul, those clad halves are very elusive, I've only ever found one. Congrats on all
Thanks woodbutcher…...I usually get ONE or NONE each year. If I remember correctly the most I ever got in one year was TWO, and they always come out of the ground in horrible shape, worse than the other clad.

Good hunt! Kennedy halfs are hard to come by.
Being a middle school, there might be a bunch of dollar coins from vending machines. Middle schools/junior highs around here are the primary source for dollar coins. 83 from two such schools last month for me, a record.

Thanks.....I generally get about 10 Dollar coins per year, so far none at this particular school.

A nice productive outing Ed. Congrats on a very nice clad take. Trapper
Thanks Trapper.....

Nice hunt!
Thanks CalReg…..
