Hey all! I recovered my 1st Large Cents last week out of the same plug and man were they toasty. I need to improve my cleaning techniques.
Based off the minimal detail you can see does it appear the 2nd pic is a Coronet or braided?
Thanks!

That one is toasted. I compared to photos and could not determine which it is.

Thanks for the reply! Super toasted, I’m trying to use the ear and the clear liberty to determine but I’m just not sure it’s so far gone

Tough to tell. You are fancy!! I’ve got a jar I throw my toasty large coppers in. Must have a hundred.Coronets and braided seem to be prone to corrosion.

Very tough, I’m worried to further clean them and ruin what little detail is there
I put them in holders as they are my first large coppers I’ve ever dug! In the same plug at that!
Can’t wait to recover more the rush is amazing see’ing them pop out of the soil
