Another first for me, 2 silver Mercury dimes in the same hole! Also some nice old wheat pennies. The heat got to me and I was digging in grass covered gravel so had to cut today’s hunt short, but it was a great hunt! I'll definitely be headed back as I covered very little of the area.

Double nice finds...double the congrats!

Thanks!

Some nice finds there...congrats!

Thanks!

Nice going on the two Mercs, Jim. That 1936 is in pretty nice condition too.

Thanks Jim! Unfortunately I hit the 1936 on the reverse. Digging in that compact gravel was tough.

Nice finds in one spot!

Thanks! I found this location by research, but honestly I expected that it had been cleaned out.

Nice finds! I haven’t found 1 with the nox yet let alone 2 haha congrats

Thanks! I've been detecting for about 18 months and in my 3 1/2 months with the NOX I've found 4 Mercs, 2 silver Rosies and an Indian along with other great finds. The NOX isn't a magic machine but it is very good especially in trash with the 6" coil. Still the key to finding the good stuff is location. You'd be surprised how many old yet very public places still have good coins. I've certainly been surprised.
