I’ve been poking around with the new Simplex. Gotta say, I’m loving it! I can definitely tell when It’s a zinc penny now 
In my travels, one place has been really nice. Found lots of coins and three rings in the last week! First, I got a solid 30 on the simplex. Really had to dig for it, as it was down about 10-12 inches, but worth it- it was a thin 14k!
Feeling lucky, I went the next day and about an hour in, got a sweet Sterling silver ring. Small, but Nice detail. And many more zinkies. Many, many zinkies...
Since California was miserably hot yesterday and crowds were thin everywhere, it seemed like a good time to go out. I rounded up a nice collection of clads- nothing exciting, but fun. Heading back to the car, I got a solid beep. What the heck. One last dig and about five inches down I pulled some serious bling. WOOT!! Just for a moment. Hey, a shiny junk ring is still a ring.
Shiva was an interesting dig. Terry Pratchett would be proud. A small god!
Gold/ silver/ diamond trifecta will have to wait until another day. All in all, still a great week. I love this Simplex!
