Default Minelab X-Terra 305

I use a minelab X-Terra 305 and I am having some trouble with it. This is my first computerized detector and the settings are confusing to me.things like how to set up the discrimination, and noise canceling, etc. I usually hunt in parks and in tot lots. So if you guys could give me some hints or tell me how to set up the detector right I would greatly appreciate it.

I don't have that kind of md but there is a lot of youtube videos from this young boy and he has the same model as you.

This is a video on manual ground balancing which apparently needs to be done on your model and several others as well

I hope this helps some! Good luck!

Go to the Minelab site and download the E-BOOK for the X-TERRA. It will explain the settings a little clearer.
I went from an ace 250 to the 705 and it is a bit confusing. Stick with it. It's well worth it.

I agree with SBA701. Go to the Minelab site and download the FREE ebook "Understanding Your X-Terra".

There is also a VERY good X-Terra forum on another board.(not sure if it's ok to link to another board, so I won't) It won't take much of a search to find it, though.
