Default Found old lock

I think it is a window lock but I am not sure. Pretty nice work and it still functions.

If it works I would try to make some kind of "special finds" box where I would try to use it as my lock. Very cool find nonetheless!

Reminds me of an old window lock of the type they used in old trams.
There was some kind of saw toothed gizmo on the side of the window
frame and when you squeezed on the lock levers, you could slide the window
up or down. When you released the levers, a tang would engage on one
of the saw tooth teeth and held the window in place.

Pretty nice Jeff. Shine it up and put it to use, they don't make stuff lwith that kind of detail any more. I am not sure, but i would wager it dos'nt have "made in China" any where on it. ......Gil
