These coin shaped discs were found in an area in Massachucitts where I have found a lot of revolutionary war items. They are made of lead and are roughly the same size as a quarter. One is fairly thick and the other is very thin. Anyone have an idea what they are or were used for?

I can't help with an id but I have found those same discs made of lead. Mine were also found at a revolutionary war site. I always figured they were some kind of weight. A local museum also has a few on display. They call them shot musket balls but that clearly isn't true

I have found bale seals before and know how to ID them. These have no crimping marks from melting the lead, no marks left imprinted and no hole in the side for where the wire would have hone through. I posted this on coin shooters thread and the verdict looks like they were most likely used as game peace. They are absent of any marks, smooth, and solid.
