Equinox coil covers

Saw these on ebay and wanted to hear your thoughts? I imagine it'll be easier to clean this cover than having to wash the coil with its nook and crannies especially in muddy situations lol.

People may possibly want to cover a coil like that after hunting to keep the vehicle clean. However, if I were concerned about a dirty detector, I would use one of the zip up bags that encases the whole detector.

As far as detecting with it installed... :?:
 
Seems to me more trouble than not having one. That thing gets wet it’s going to weigh you down too. I just hose off my machine after a muddy hunt.
 
Just more weight to swing. It’s not that hard to clean the coil anyway. I prefer the open coil so I can see the ground and it’s just looks better.

I agree, looks like it would be more trouble than it't worth. Easy enough to rinse off the coil.
