This is old news, but the only gold I've found in the dirt. Most of my detecting is in the water. All these rings were in the same hole (!), about 6 inches deep. It's still a puzzle to me as to how they got there. Ring spill or intentionally buried??

That, my friend, is a Victorian Lady’s coin purse. It is sterling overlaid with gold. Often they wore them on a chain and stuffed them with fragrant flowers or bits of cloth soaked in perfume (they didn’t bathe often). That was found at the home site of the pirate Daniel McGirts (McGirth)

The large ring is 14 k gold, it is 9.3 grams. The chain is 14K and is 7.4 grams. Both of these were found in a park with my Ace 400.
The small 1.8 gram ring is 10 k this was recently found at an old home site with my Nox 600.

This is my one and only gold ring 10k. Found it in a campground 2 weeks after we bought our first detector. That bounty hunter tracker 4 got us all kinds of killer finds but it was time to upgrade haha. Havent found another gold anything yet...

9kt gold earring

Part of a 10kt gold fountain pen. The piece that wraps around was just plated but the rest is solid.
