Identifying structure on maps

Hello. Recently I’ve been poking my nose where i probably shouldn’t be, and doing a lot of research on the still functional mental asylum near me. The place is a mess, known for hydrotherapy, electric shock therapy, and every other kind of “therapy” you could imagine. Anyways i was on google maps and noticed this strange structure in the woods about a half mile from the asylum. It seems to be a bridge or some kind of tracks or something? Can anyone help me on this? I attached a picture of it from a 1954 map as well. The quality of it is obviously lacking, but it shows a view of it before nature reclaimed it. Thanks all

I forgot to add, i probably won’t detect here, because i doubt there’ll be anything, I’m just looking for good places to photograph right now. And i know most of you are gonna tell me to just go look at it myself. I definitely will when i have time, but i want to anticipate what it may be first.

Well, the pics can't be sized up on our end, so it's a bit difficult to tell.
Might it be the remains of an abandoned rail line?
There should be something in the map's legend.

Kind of looks like a RR track to me, dont see a river for it to be a bridge, either way it is a manmade structure & someone had to have built it long ago. I would detect it, dont ever say theres probably nothing there because people lose coins & things in the strangest places where you least expect it. Good luck & keep us posted.
