Well, last year I had made my way east into older PA a few times and had some nice luck with a couple century old silvers. I had been hoping to get back out there sometime soon.
These aren't crazy insane valuable coins, but they sure don't come around very often anymore, and I'm so happy I decided to capture it on the old cell phone anyway.

It was a tough deep dig with one hand and a tiny hand shovel while recording with my left hand , but it turned out ok. I shortened it up quite a bit as originally it was over ten minutes.
I'm only posting the video for now .....

I'd say it's a dig you don't see every day.......

It'd be cool to see a few more subs too.......
I only do like 2 vids a year......
hope you enjoy it....I spent 3 hours editing......
Happy hunting out there to everyone......

One of the main reasons I haven't stepped into video. I'm going to photograph and log my finds no matter what, so video would add onto that workflow. I know there are some youtubers who get good enough to film with minimal editing, but I know I'd go overboard with it.

excellent ! Love the way you showed the viewer the "before" signal. Unlike a lot of videos , where they don't turn on the camera till after it's already out of the hole. The "reveal" type capture is best , like you did, from beginning to end. Especially if someone is wanting to learn the sounds of a machine, and "feel" what drew the md'r to the target, in the first place.

Great show. I would classify that as more of a "coin-purse" find, than a "pocket-spill". Thanx for taking us along !

Very cool finds! Nice video too! Editing can take forever so I know how that goes.

I subbed as well. Check out my channel Detectorben if you get time and sub back if you like my channel.

Two halves in one hole!? Wow. A barber half and a barber quarter too? Very cool. Thanks for the video. I love the sound of that CTX. Deep dig for that hori hori [emoji3526] Nice work.

Wow congrats! My last coin spill was 18 zincolns. Probably another detector sorting through his finds bag.

that is a awesome hunt congrats on the big silver spill a couple years ago i found two halves in the same hole a 1909 barber and a 1934 walker your right doesnt happen much ever :D

You don't say !!! That's amazing ! The same two exact coins??? What are the odds???
Were they deep?
But anyway......cool story. Congrats to you too.

Incredible hunt Bob, sorry I didn’t see this sooner! THESE are the kinds of things that keep us coming back for more...the POSSIBILITY is always there. Think of the hoards of detectorists who are now doing something else because they weren’t coming home with 10 silvers a day anymore. Here we are, very happy to dig ONE a hunt, sometimes one a WEEK! To run across a spill like THIS? The odds are so low it’s almost incalculable. But there it is, and all we have to do is find the next silver...wherever it may be.
Congratulations in a huge way, what a thrill that must have been!
