I've gone to clean these up... I don't like those VDI's
Not enough experience with gold chains (real or plated), but that ring should be around 14 VDI for its size. I'm sure it's plated :roll:
 
Here is the lesson for me today
37 and 47 VDI are the two most common target ID's on my machine for pulltabs (thats a fact) but I have to dig them if I'm going to see this junk.

Ironically todays finds turn out to be both plated but it was a good hunt because I see no one has hit this lacation :shock: and that makes it a sweet spot for me :yes:

Now I will go each day and clean out the tether ball court, tot lot and soccer field before school starts

It would be a good start for you for several reasons;

1. obvoiously its been a while since anyone (if ever) has swept this school
2. I noted no electro-magnetic interference at all
3. I had forgot to ground balanced my machine because the soil was so nice

All green lights for a successfull noob hunt, I will PM you the cords and you are welcome to show up. Not going back tonight but very soon. For you to come down that far for a school hunt might not be worth it but I would surely drive up for that beach you have. You know, that one that banned all Th'ers because....
