Found at Revere Beach, (Mass), this morning about 1 foot down near the water at low tide. Looks to be made of Copper. Large ring, about a size 10. I think it's very old. any thought?
Personally I don't think it's too old, if it was maybe the small string like parts would have broken down with erosion, many new jewelry are made with 1920 styles.
Possible chrome plated copper and the salt water ate the chrome off? Nice to find a ring so long as its not a "junk" ring. Copper I consider real rings. Mass and getting out in Feb?? WOW. Wont be doing any digging here in Wis for a LONG time. Smaller communities are telling customers to keep a trickle of water running at all times to help keep water moving through the underground pipes to prevent freeze ups. Frost down to 5' in most places and I think pipes are around 4 feet. Going back down below zero again this week for lows and highs in the single digits. Cant wait for digging season. Just gotta stock up on lithium ultimates.
Congrats man.
