I'd get it insured right away - very cool...

That is a golden bullet... amazing really - wow...

I wonder what the last thing that coin purchased was? A couple of cans of tomatoes? A men's hat? Horsehoes?

I wonder how it was lost... or if that tree was even there when it was lost...

I wonder who lost it and how - and if they even realized they lost it...

Thanks for everyones replys. I will be sending to coin to get graded. I hope to fine out more info on the coin as well. I will let you know when I get the coin back.

Superb find. I found a draped bust Large Cent from 1798 so I can tell you, even though it's not worth anything compared to your coin, it still caused my heart to skip a beat! Congrats! (I'd go back to that tree and MD the !!!! out of it if I were you!) :lol:
