Decided to do a quick 15 minute hunt at an old park, used since the 1860s.

Old ballfield, sledding hill and a pavilion.

Anyway I only had a few short minutes of Beaver tails, bottle caps and.some memorials before a village maintenance truck pulls up next to me and asks if I'm having any luck.

Tells me his dad detects and offered up some spots.

I was trying my Equinox 600.with 6 inch coil, to better learn it.

Wonder if he offered up the other spots out of friendliness, or to distract me from his father's territory?

Anyway, nice guy, didn't say a word about permission, holes whatever.

He pulled away, parked a hundred yards or so away and started pruning a tree on the edge.

I'll definitely hit this park, as well as the others he mentioned.

I was down in Alabama detecting a city park. One of the guys who works there kept recommending an area that the Guys who jump out of perfectly good airplanes Since we were not finding much my brother in law and I went and hit the spot. the weeds were knee high and again we found almost nothing. I think he just wanted us out of his park.
I did find a pair of paratrooper wings but alas they were not silver.
