I found one 10 years ago. This is a screenshot of the pic and writeup at the time.

Lets have gold coin thread and see how many are west of the Mississippi.

Better yet, lets talk about my real bucket lister, the 20 cent piece. Weren't over 90% minted in CC or further west?

Well, a guy found one in New England a few months ago, so there is hope. I'll admit there is no hope of the Cali folks finding a colonial era shilling (another big bucket lister for me), tho I do have a friend who found a Roman coin in Michigan.

Give us your 20 centers, and we'll give you our trimes

You are sick. Just plain sick. I have only-ever heard of a single 20c being found in CA. Maybe two if I racked my brain enough. This is after 40+ yrs. of mingling with many of the "finest" in CA. So the 20c are simply not here.

But let me guess : On the east coast those 20 centers are just spilling out of every sand box, right ?

Yep, pulling 'em like clad around here. We just don't post 'em 'cause we don't want y'all to feel bad

I've only ever seen one posted. Outside the half disme, which I have never seen posted, it is my dream coin. Hope to post one someday.

Best one I've seen yet! This thread is still young though. Keep 'em coming diggers!
