Would like to get into electrolysis and have this charger on hand. Was wondering if it will work for electrolysis.
Thanks!

I'm not real experienced in electrolysis. But I do believe that you need something with very low amperage you want it to be a slow process. I made one out of a RadioShack power pack of some sort it is only 6 volts and very low amperage. You also need a catalyst I use washing soda. The Positive would be placed on the sacrificial metal and the ground on the item in which you are cleaning. As far as your charger goes I am not sure.

Thanks Dan,
I can probably scrounge up a charger like the one you show or one similar. I'm not sure about the battery charger either. I certainly don't want smoke coming out of anything I'm working on unless it's my charcoal grill .

it says "Automatic" - I wonder if it might think the battery is done charged & it might shut down while using ?

if not, I think it would be ok to use. I'd try it 15 amps & see if it gets too warm (charger) in a couple hours. I bet it don't but if so, go to 2 amp.

when mine, I've checked my amps to the relic & usually only a few amps, if even that

my 2¢
