Have been hitting up what I can only class as a park that has been hunted pretty solid. My research shows that it was given to the city in 1955 and had some ballfields and such by 1960, so we are not going to be seeing super old stuff here. I have mostly been hitting clad dating back to the late 60s and early 70s, although it has given up my oldest to date...a 1939 Jeff nickel. Last night I hit a new one though. Starting to lose daylight and I hit a 24-25 signal and it was solid enough to dig it. Out popped a quarter, which gave me a bit of head scratching moment after I put it in the pocket. Quarters on the Nox are supposed to be ringing 29-30 normally. Once I got into cleaning some stuff, I found out why. Have not been able to find any real history on them, but at least it is worth an ice cream cone.
