Hit our local beaches here in Queensland just after lunch hoping Cyclone Debbie had stirred things up.Very little sand movement unfortunately.
However I scored this beautiful 15ct gold ring, inscribed inside "From Mother 25/12/1921" weight 5.5 grams .. how cool is that.
Also scored a nice watch that is actually working too.Nixon time teller deluxe black .. retail for.$213.
Very happy today.....

Nice old signet. Dated ones are the best! I have a Christmas 1013, and a 1910. At least you know they are not fresh drops and the people are long gone.

Never saw a 15K. I have found a few 16K but you detect where they allow 9K. Not allowed in the states.

Congrats on a unique find.

Wow. That is a cool find! And 15K at that! What a neat discovery. Great save, too! I don't know if I could sell that one for gold scrap.. but in the end, I'd probably take a bunch of pictures, and send it off!

:dingding: Congrats on the oldy goldy and a fine watch!

That's really cool. I'd hate to be the guy who lost that ring.

Edit: just realized the date on it...wow

Nice finds and watch too. I'm just batty over wristwatches, especially old mechanical ones.
