So today, I grabbed my Nox and walked a block over to a street that runs down to an old park. My plan was to hunt the curb as I headed to the park. When I got to the sidewalk, I turned on the machine, did the set up, and made a swing at the curb. Got a good signal right off the bat, so I dug it... Up came this beautiful 1914 Barber Quarter. My first ever...
Also found a 53 wheat penny and a bunch of clad, but that Barber had me grinnin from ear to ear. Never made it to the park though. After getting that on my first swing, I was hunting those curbs hard and heavy. Think I only made it four houses down the street. May have 10-12 houses to go before I reach the park.
