Dual Field- Always Faithful!

:dingding:Very cool find!
Thanks Felix, Something different for sure!

VLF IB machines, even multifrequency ones have difficulties in black sand.

PI machines on the other hand, tend to see through it easily.

If you can stand the French language soundtrack, this long video shows a prototype of the new Manta detector - a PI acquired and being developed for production by Fisher.

Starting about 4 minutes in, the Manta detects a gold band below a bag of black sand - a Minelab Sovereign sees nothing.

A PI with iron ID and depth greater than any VLF will shake up the beach scene - soon, I hope.
Yes, I've seen that video and was extremely impressed.

Nice save Compass! And good to see something besides the Nox in the headlines.
Thanks OBN, Got to give credit where credit is due!

Nice job Compass  Always good to have a backup machine. Sucks if you had to carry both a mile down the beach and back, but that's better than not having it and cursing the day away :D:laughing:
Thanks C, Yes, I learned that lesson the hard way.

Rick.. I will likely be standing in front of the line. But the problem is who knows when the doors will open.
I'll be right behind you!

Thats made of gold! You lucky pirate you.
Thanks MA, Wish it was bigger gold but no complaints here!

Nice work on the smaller gold there!
Thanks GS, The Dual Field really can hit the small stuff....except small chains.

Okay David, I have to give you special props on that response! AWESOME!!!
Thanks! I went back and cleaned it up...and reposted it. Might have to make another one with a NOX in the other arm.
