All the crops are now in and most of the straw is now baled so the it's time to hit the fields.

Awesome finds Doug! I always thought those shoe/boot fasteners may have been old chainsaw teeth  learn something new everyday, thanks for sharing!

Amazing finds! I spent 16 wonderful days at Fairford Air Base and it is scenic like your photos of the countryside. Congrats on the discoveries and thanks for sharing.

The artifacts and coins you find never cease to amaze me!
I wonder what a "bad" hunt would look like for you.
Darn! only one hammered silver today...

Nice scenery and finds! I’d love to get over there and MD for a few days and come home with a pocket full of those big pennies!

Please forgive me but I'm struggling to say thank you on a 'multi quote' post.

Not quite sure what I'm doing wrong.

Thank you all for the views and messages on my finds.

...Doug.

Thank you.

This one of the Air Days I went to at RAF Fairford a few years ago.

This is the RAF's C130 replacement, The Atlas.

I took the photograph with the aircraft on finals and close to touch down.
