I finally made it back to my 1795 site this morning. I hunted for 5 hours and found a few D buckles and a couple of cuff flat buttons and a few other relics. The best two finds were the early 1800’s New York Militia buttons. There were found 5 foot apart but are in totally opposite conditions. I’m going back in the morning. Ty for looking and HH!

Congrats on the finds! Love the buttons! I visit down your way quite a bit. My mom lives in Reidsville. I will have to bring my machine down next time.

Great finds with Vic! That site is going to cough up a Reale or two soon!

While the buttons are certainly cool, I find myself enamored by the circular nature of your fingerprint in the 3rd photo. Did you design that yourself? :)

Congrats on finding the buttons !

Ty!
