After almost 5 months the class ring is on its way home.
After e-mails to the school in Cairo which connected me
with the parents of the student and the student himself,
i finally have an address to mail the ring to. I hate to see
the ring go as it was my first class ring. When i was just
out of High School i also lost my class ring. one day a local
mail man found the ring and went thru the trouble of finding the owner.
I guess that is why i have hunted for the owner so hard as sort of payment for my ring being returned.

That is a handsome looking ring. You will get 25 karma points deposited in your karma bank for what you have done. :)

You did a wonderful thing Anode and will be rewarded someday somehow! When I find my first class ring I hope I can track that person down just like you have. I know some people in this hobby don't agree with returning things that can be returned which in my opinion is very disheartening to say the least.

Anode, Hope you get

That warm fuzzy feeling. You deserve it. Very nice of you to take the time to follow through on finding the owner. Good for the hobby.. ..Gil

Nice story. Nice ring . The gods will replace it with something I' sure.
Did the Greeks or the Romans have a god of MDing. If not we could
call him or her FINDINGUSSTUFF:spin:

Great going! I am in the process of trying to return a girl's class ring, but cannot get the school to answer my e-mails. I'm not giving up, though. You will be blessed with good luck.
