Well Cedar Beach Mount Sinai,Ny not the best beach very rocky since its a northshore location. Busy here during the day came down at sunset with the legend just a few lead sinkers and alot of garbage. I shouldve known but hey well you got to dig it all!! 👍
Good Luck Out There!

You have to work the water at those beaches. Waves are small and people wade out into deeper water. Or work right after a storm.(nor'easter)

Thanks for the info Joe I appreicate it. I just started doing the surf today but it was so choppy at West Meadow Beach which is usually pretty calm. Had my waders on but hit the shoreline did good

OK I'm not much of a water hunter but I plan on changing that. To me water hunting is hit and miss but from some of the finds I see here it can be a game changer. I'm gonna get the waders out and give it a try real soon. Looks like you did do good though.

My issue is i am going to have to make a floating screen to sift out my finds seen a few ideas on the internet going to experiment with a few ideas and see how they pan out.

ALL hunting is hit or miss. Typically high towel line= fresh drops, slope=50/50 ring or coin and in the wet the findings become less quantity and more quality. In the winter wet a found ring you can bet!
