I took out NuBlu just over 3 hours before low tide. Storms were about so I was hoping not to get electrified again. Targets were few, especially in the 1st half, when I was working near shore. The second half of the hunt was offshore and in deeper water. I was in all-metal when I hit a patch with a few targets just breaking the threshold. On one of those targets, when I believe I was on the 2nd or 3rd scoop I looked in the scoop an . I had no doubt it was going to be gold even with a little stain on the back of the bottom part of the bail. There was also a marking I couldn’t make out along the top of the bail so that was also good. After 4.5 hours, I was done and left in some pretty heavy rain. (The lifeguards had changed the warning flags 4 times in the time I was out there from the green flags to the red flags). When I got to the car, I got my loupe and could see the “10K” clearly. However, when I got home, I was a little bit upset as it seems there were quite a few coins missing from my haul. About 4-5 quarters and maybe a few more pennies and couple of dimes. I examined the pouch carefully and saw no holes, so I don’t understand. The only thing I can come up with is I was putting them in a "fold” of the outer pouch instead of the inside of the pouch. Something I’d never done before. I officially go back to work on Monday so my numerous weekday summer hunts will now be curtailed.
