Our local Postal Service was delayed 2 days on deliveries due to a much anticipated major ice storm here in the Central Kingdom, but when it failed to cause problems on the roads last night and this morning, the USPO did its job, delivering the mail again! ;) ;)

In the Royal Mailbox were several packages for KT, and the most interesting of these held some coins for the Royal Treasury! The coins totaled out at:
1 WWII age Walker, 1 Unc 64 Ken, and 4 Bens....and an unexpected gift of an Unc 56 wheatie. That wheatie brought back memories of a young Kinglet sitting on his Parent's sofa, and going through a $100 bag of pennies from the street meters of his home town. KT's Royal Father always encouraged KT's interests in collecting....coins first, then stamps, and finally rocks and minerals!

Anyway, here is a picture posted of the goodies. The wheatie was left in the holder as it shows no fingerprints and KT does not want to degrade it by handling it!

Enjoy the picture!

Very nice your majesty, I've never seen an uncirculated Wheatie before. That was a very nice royal gift for sure!
Royal Thanks, Bio, for your comment! KT suggests a trip to a local coin dealer or coin show sometime, just to see how beautiful our common coinage is when it is mint fresh! As MDers and CRHers we would never see a coin as clean as that Wheatie, but when someone gives you one, you can just enjoy it for its beauty! This wheat is of course solid copper and you can see why it is called the red metal. It has a blush of red oxidation showing! If KT were to touch it, within a few months, His Royal Fingerprint would show up on its surface due to the acidity of the oils on His Skin. That is why coin dealers usually wear white cotton gloves when handling coins of this quality!
