Newbie question

Hi, I'm enjoying this forum almost as much as MDing!
My only problem is I am sure I set up correctly to get an email when someone replies to my thread or comment. But so far, I've had a few replies and no email. Please tell me how to set this up. I've gotten so active on FMDF and I don't want to be rude and not reply to a question. Thank you.

Hi Carol. Thanks for the thread. I did read that thread last night, so I went in to my MSN account and added "metaldetectingforum.com" to my safe list..........still, no email notifications about my thread replies (got at least 3 or 4).
I also checked my CF and I've done everything right. Any hotmail users out there have suggestions? Please let me know. I have some great MDers out there replying to my threads and I don't want to miss answering anyone.

Another way of checking if someone has answered your post is to go to your user control panel. Every thread you have posted in, you are automaticly subscribed to. Just click on New Subscribed Threads

Again, thank you. I'm still learning to navigation this wonderful forum. That is a much quicker way than seek & find. Also, there are boxes to click there too for instant notification. Maybe that will help. But so far, no emails. Will keep trying
