Unable to park outside the village school so went down the farm and parked there.

This meant I went into the field through another gate, first signal.........!

That is awesome! What are the laws over there in England? Can you keep the coins or do you have to turn them in?

Yes I can keep the coin although I'm sure the landowner will want to donate the coin to the museum for research purposes.
 
From one Doug to another, that's one sharp siliqua! Well found! A rare coin of course, even for over here. The earlier Denarii's turn up far more 'frequently' so a late Roman silver is a real red letter day. Hope you pick up some more!
