Since the 70's as a young teen and beginning detecting my on and off detecting in Ohio I have retired and moved to Florida and finally joined my first ever treasure hunting club, the Suncoast Research and Recovery Club. Looking forward to new friendships and the activities they offer.

Way to go Rob… after you’ve been a member for a few months and attended some meetings, you’ll have a pretty good sense of whether your club needs any volunteer activity to help spread out the work it takes to remain successful.
I’ve been a member of MTHA www.masstreasure.com for about 38 years now and have been its volunteer Librarian for almost that long and Membership secretary for 20+ years. We’ve gained quite a few new members in the last few years and have a great bunch of volunteering members, including; Raffle ticket captain, webmaster, hunt master, hospitality, Newsletter editor, Find-of-the-month table team, etc. These, in addition to our elected officers, help the club to be a great one.
